Do clients really care if you have worked in their exact industry?
When? Whom to use?
A lot of us here are working for different companies, in different sectors, providing various services.
How well would a recommendation, or an endorsement, will work across industries
For example, I am currently doing work for an agricultural company in Israel, an Electric vehicle manufacturer in China, software company from India and a Medical Device company from Israel.
This is exactly what I fix, hands-on. Monthly, no contract, no exit fines. If revenue is stuck, the call costs you nothing.
Book a 15-minute callToday I was talking to potential clients - and each, as always, asked if I have experience with THEIR specific industry...... And my conclusion / lesson is: at the end of the day, people will be working with ME because of who I AM. Not because of the work I did with their competitors in the field.
And so personal recommendations, in my opinion, are not less important than professional ones.
A big thank you to Gabriel Heifets, from Annapurna Labs, for the somewhat personal endorsement:)

No fluff. Sales, revenue and go-to-market, straight from the field.
Your sales suck. You don't know why. I do.
A 15-minute call, no pitch. You will leave with at least one concrete thing to fix, whether or not we work together.
